Collection: His Glory Collection
About a year and a half ago 30 plus women gathered on a sunny summer morning on a screened-in porch, amid rugs, pillows, and furniture so we could share in a sweet time of worship. We wanted to celebrate all God had done through the field testing of Cultivating Holy Beauty and share the next steps of where we believed God was leading us. Books were about to be sent to print and we felt this was a prime time to fundraise for the ministry.
The time of worship was vulnerable and sweet, women shared testimonies of life change and our team cast vision for the future. If there was ever a perfect time to ask for support, this was it! But that was not God’s plan. He had a tender lesson for us to learn and live by.
As I was wiping down the table to help clean up, I asked God why people were not giving. Hadn’t He asked us to do this? I will never forget what He spoke to my heart and confirmed in the hearts of our team over and over again:
“Is My glory enough?”
I just fell to my knees and answered: “Yes, Lord, Your glory is enough!”
From that day on we have purposed regardless of the donations, books sales, amount of conferences hosted, speaking engagements attended, etc., so long as He was glorified through our words and actions, that would be enough for us.
As we enter into a season where we can easily lose focus of what matters most, we are releasing the "His Glory" product line on November 29 to remind us, "His Glory Is Enough!" These items may or may not sell, but the truth of the lesson remains the same: His Glory Is Enough! We pray these items encourage you as much as the truth of that day has transformed us!
